Screenscope was founded by Marilyn & Hal
Weiner who have produced, written, and directed over 225 documentaries,
a dozen "after-school" TV dramas, four public television
series, and over 100 television commercials. They have also produced
three feature films (Family Business, The Imagemaker,
and K2).
The Weiners are among the country's most honored filmmakers,
winning 130 top international awards from film festivals in
Venice, Moscow, Rome, Krakow, Belgrade, Berlin, Washington,
New York, etc. Their work has received three EMMY Nominations
and two EMMY Awards, plus thirty-nine CINE Golden Eagle Awards.
They are recipients of the National Academy of Television Arts
and Science's 1998 Silver Circle Award for outstanding contributions
